1. Information We Collect
When you use our products we collect anonymous analytics data to improve the suite of langpal tools.
User Info: We do not collect any other personally identifiable information unless you sign-up for a langpal account and then we collect your: email, name & sign-in provider used.
User Stored Data: We currently only store your “Known Characters”. This allows your characters to be synced across langpal experiences.
Currently phrase lists & grammar corrections are all stored locally on your device. However, we do have plans for the future to allow the saving of phrase lists.
Audio Data: We do not store any audio data, however we do send this data for processing with a third party provider to retrieve pronunciation data.
2. Sharing Your Information with Third Parties: We use third party providers to process audio data & grammar correction requests to provide pronunciation data & grammar feedback. These providers do not store any data.
3. Data Storage and Security: We & our providers implement industry-standard security measures to ensure the safety and confidentiality of your data.
4. Changes to this Privacy Policy: We may occasionally update this Privacy Policy. If we make significant changes, we will notify you through the app or other appropriate means. Your continued use of langpal after such updates signifies your acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
